This home is great for a holiday family getaway, a peaceful place to write, or a comfortable place to reside while exploring/working in Richmond. You’ll feel nestled in seclusion as you approach the unpaved driveway. The home sits on a cul-de-sac which means low traffic area, more privacy. In addition to its forest-like surroundings, you are also very close to all conveniences.

Let’s take you inside as you step up and enter in a conversational living room donning two velvet love seats and large ottoman. A great place to sip coffee and talk about your day’s agenda. Looking for a more cozy affair? Slip into the family room where you can enjoy a restful afternoon on the couch reading a good book or binging your favorite shows in front of the electric brick fireplace. This room serves as a great group gameday watch party venue with a 70” Smart TV equipped with standard streaming services. Can’t have a good game day without nachos and wings and what better place to do it than in the large eat-in kitchen provided.

The kitchen is equipped with essential cookery and utensils, stainless steel appliances including dishwasher and smooth top cooking, a great eat-at island for those hurried mornings, and a large dining table. You can pass over the beverages through the walk up bar as well. Here you will also find access to the laundry station with a full utility room. Ample counter space and pantry storage making at home meals a breeze!

Alas, one must retire and you have three bedrooms to choose from! You’ll find a full tub and shower bath in the hallway to the right and then you’ll encounter the sleeping quarters starting with bedroom one. Bedroom one dons a trundle day bed with a small desk, perfect for writing love letters or your next best seller. Double door closets provide enough clothing/storage space. Arrive at Bedroom two where you’ll find a Queen size bed, dresser, and Smart TV for wanting to watch in privacy. Last but not least, we have our Main sleeping quarters which includes a Queen size bed, dresser, Smart TV, and dressing bench with storage. There is also a full length mirror here—the better to see you with. Enjoy the full bath ensuite for convenience. There are also hampers, hangers, and blankets, and double door closets in the bedrooms. You’ll feel quite rested!

We have some good weather days here and we cannot resist in introducing you to the backyard with full patio set, surrounding trees, and tranquil setting, perfect for starry nights or easy afternoons. This home is calm and you are perfectly located with easy access to all conveniences.

Where am I?

Welcome to rolling hills and park-like settings! We love the historic Bon Air area. Once chosen to be littered with Victorian homes and a literal resort area where ‘good air’ could be had, Bon Air gets its moniker from being the fresh air haven as opposed to the dirty and industrial city that Richmond was in the late 1800s. If you happen to come in May on the Saturday before Mother’s Day, you can take in the annual Victorian Day Parade and Festival. Bon Air is one of RVA’s most beautifully historic neighborhoods.

You’ll find quaint neighborhoods here with varied architecture and a forest-like backdrop. You can take a nice walk through Forest Hill Park, do some mountain biking in Larus Park, or have a shopping spree at Stony Point Fashion Park. There’s a lot of things to do here, from singing karaoke at a smoky dive bar to having a nice brunch at Laura Lee’s to axe throwing. You’ll also have easy access to other parts of RVA and it’s historical landmarks.
