RVA has a huge golf community and what better way to celebrate National Golf Month than by showcasing residential communities that have their very own greens. Richmond currently has 14 golf communities with homes ranging from $350K-1M in price point. Here’s a look at our top communities.
MAGNOLIA GREEN. Just as its name suggests, Magnolia Green provides an award winning 18-hole course in it’s all encompassing community. Family friendly, Mag Green has everything from swimming pools to its own market and restaurant to affordable custom housing. Their golf course was even rated one of Golf Digest's Top 10 Best New Courses for 2015 with a great staff and friendly atmosphere.

CHESDIN LANDING. We’re beginning to think these 55+ communities is where it’s at. Welcome to Chesdin Landing in Chesterfield. There are some nice digs in this golf community and has many amenities to ease your living. From socializing at the Clubhouse to lakefront residences, Chesdin provides a very comfy existence. Enjoy a swim at the Olympic sized pool after a round at their 18-hole championship course.
THE HIGHLANDS. Appropriately named, this custom homes golf community in Chesterfield will leave you relaxed and taken care of. Lakefront properties are available and they even have an indoor golf facility in addition to their regular course called the Bunker. The homes here are grand!
WILLOW OAKS. Now, this isn’t resort living, but we love the Willow Oaks subdivision for its diverse architecture and affordable housing. It is also right next to the Stratford Hills Shopping center. Willow Oaks provides country club living without the bougieness. The best part is you’re able to play alongside the James River. Pretty and relaxed golf community!
